Megan Lloyd
Megan is a Holistic Fascia Release and Mental Health practitioner, Occupational Therapist, and yoga teacher based in Brighton.
Her work weaves together clinical understanding with a deeply intuitive, heart-led approach. With a background as a mental health practitioner in NHS services, Megan has supported individuals across a wide range of experiences, including trauma, depression, anxiety, psychosis, and schizophrenia. She has also worked within specialist neurodiverse services, supporting children and young people with sensory and developmental needs.
Alongside her clinical experience, Megan brings a lifelong passion for holistic wellbeing, movement, and the subtle connections between body, mind, and spirit. Deeply inspired by nature, she draws on the rhythms and intelligence of the natural world in her approach — recognising the body as part of this same living system. Just as nature moves through cycles of holding, releasing, and renewal, Megan supports others to find their own way back to balance, in their own time.
Her work is rooted in the belief that the body holds its own wisdom, and that with the right support, it can gently guide us back towards a sense of wholeness. Known for her warm, calming presence, Megan creates a space where people feel safe to slow down, soften, and reconnect. Her approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and deeply respectful of each person’s unique experience.
Offering Holistic Fascia Release felt like a natural coming together of everything she had been exploring — combining hands-on bodywork, nervous system awareness, and intuitive listening. Her sessions are guided not by routine, but by the body itself, allowing for a deeply personal and restorative experience.
Holistic Fascia Release
Holistic Fascia Release (HFR) is a gentle yet powerful hands-on treatment that works with the fascia — the connective tissue that weaves through and supports every part of the body.
Rather than focusing on isolated areas of tension, this approach recognises the body as an interconnected whole. Patterns of holding can develop over time through injury, stress, posture, or emotional experience, often showing up in places that may seem unrelated.
Through slow, intuitive, and deeply attentive touch, Megan listens to the body and works with its natural rhythms to support the release of these patterns. This allows space for the body to reorganise, unwind, and return towards a state of greater ease and balance.
This work is not a quick fix, but a gradual and often profound journey of reconnection — guided by the therapist’s support and the body’s own innate wisdom. Each session builds gently on the last, allowing changes to unfold in a way that feels safe, sustainable, and deeply integrated.
Sessions are unique and responsive to what is present in the moment. This work is suitable for people of all ages, and may support:
Persistent pain and physical tension
Restrictions in movement or posture
Stress and nervous system overwhelm
Emotional holding patterns within the body
A desire to feel more connected, grounded, and at ease
Holistic Fascia Release is not about “fixing,” but about creating the conditions for change. In a space of safety and support, the body is able to let go of what it no longer needs to hold — often in ways that feel both subtle and profound.
Megan’s work gently honours the connection between body, mind, and spirit, offering a holistic and nurturing approach to wellbeing.
