Maku offers transformational Conscious Connect Breathwork through one to one sessions and immersive group workshops. She trained with the Alchemy of Breath and Dan Brule, her work supports deep emotional release, clarity, and a profound reconnection to self.
Blending breathwork with Shamanic techniques and principles during her workshops, based on her shamanic studies and healings with the Four Winds School and Second Sight, and rooted in the Peruvian and Mexican traditions. Maku creates a unique and integrative approach that works on both, energetic and psychological levels. Her counselling skills training allows her to hold a safe, grounded, and compassionate space for transformation.
She has been introducing since 2022 the “Rite of the Womb” workshop which is one of the rites of the Munay Ki.
Her teachers are Alberto Villoldo, Marcela Lobos and Jez Hughes.
Her yoga practice comes from the roots in India where she has travelled annually since 2015 to deepen her studies. She holds 3 certifications across different styles and has studied Yin yoga with respected teachers such as Sarah Lo and Advance Techniques with Norman Blair since 2022. Her teaching draws from her own experience and practice, focusing on the meditative quality of the breath and cultivating inner vision to develop self awareness and the connection between the body and mind. She has also studied Iyengar and meditation with the nephew of Swami Lakshmanjoo in India, further enriching her spiritual practice.
Since 2016, Maku has incorporated sound healing with the Tibetan singing bowls during Savasana to support deep relaxation and integration. She also offers sound baths each month and has trained in sound healing in India, holding a Sound Healing Certificate with the Sound Healing Academy.
